This work presents a conceptual wine map showing viticultural areas and wine characteristics, suggesting future analysis pathways.
This work presents a conceptual wine map of the Upper Galilee, illustrating the relationship between the main viticultural areas (subregions) and the geographical (local) wines produced from well-known vineyards within these areas. The map is based on a previously developed subregional viticultural zoning framework and incorporates the interpretation of natural environmental factors relevant to viticulture, including relief, elevation, soils, and climatic conditions. The publication includes a wine map, a brief methodological description, and a table summarizing the main characteristics of representative terroirs. The presented framework is intended as a preliminary contribution to terroir characterization and may serve as a basis for future refinement using GIS-based spatial analysis and additional environmental datasets.
