This systematic review explores the integration of robotic technologies in public libraries and their contributions toward achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). A systematic literature review methodology was employed, drawing from peer-reviewed articles case studies, and institutional reports published between 2013 and 2024, sourced from four databases – Scopus, Web of Science, IEEE Xplore, and Google Scholar. The findings identify various robotic technologies used in public libraries, including humanoid service robots (e.g. Pepper, Temi), robotic shelf readers, automated sorting systems, and interactive storytelling robots, which support inclusive learning, information dissemination, and user engagement.
