Randomized analysis establishes laws of large numbers for the range of Burr random variables, indicating broad applicability.
In this paper, we are interested in array of independent and identically Burr distributed random variables, F(x)=1−(1+xα)−β, x>0, α>0, 0<β≤1, 0<αβ≤1.The mean of this type of random variable is infinite. We establish the law of large numbers for weighted sums of the range Ri of the ith row, where no special requirements of the length of the rows are needed.
