The developmental transition from adolescence to young adulthood is a critical neurobiological period characterized by enhanced brain plasticity. During this phase, dietary patterns are pivotal in optimizing cognitive trajectories as the prefrontal cortex (PFC), which governs executive functions, is highly sensitive to nutritional signals.
