The COVID-19 pandemic exposed the vulnerabilities of global supply chains, particularly impacting SMEs. This study adopts the dynamic resource-based view to explore the impact of circular economy (CE) practices on supply chain resilience (SCR). Based on a survey of Chinese SMEs, the results show a positive relationship between CE practices and SCR, with agility and localization capabilities serving as serial mediators. Additionally, enterprises with higher blockchain adoption achieve greater supply chain capabilities in CE practices. The study provides key managerial insights for SMEs to enhance their supply chain resilience and better manage disruptions.
