This mixed-methods study explores the transformative role of digital media in redefining art and design practices, emphasizing its impact on creativity, interactivity, and accessibility. Quantitative data were collected through structured questionnaires from 400 digital artists and 350 graphic designers, producing 590 valid responses. Complementing this, qualitative insights were gathered through in-depth semi-structured interviews with 57 participants to understand how digital tools influence creative expression and artistic innovation. The findings reveal that digital media enhances the immersive and interactive qualities of art, facilitates stylistic evolution, and lowers barriers to creative participation—contributing to a more democratic and inclusive artistic culture. Furthermore, digital platforms were found to promote experimentation, collaboration, and co-creation, thereby enriching interactive learning environments and expanding opportunities for artistic engagement. The study highlights how digital technologies are reshaping traditional art-making processes, fostering new aesthetic experiences and pedagogical approaches. Theoretical and practical implications are presented for educators, practitioners, and researchers, emphasizing the need to integrate digital media into art education and creative practice.
