The article discusses the directions of improving the organization's personnel policy in the context of strategic personnel management. It substantiates the need to take into account the factors of demand and supply in the regional labor market when choosing the type of personnel policy. The article presents an algorithm for selecting the direction of improving the organization's personnel policy based on the methodology of monitoring market conditions and the procedure for scaling indicators using the importance coefficient. The article identifies the key areas for improving the organization's personnel policy, including recruitment and selection, adaptation, motivation, talent management, employee development, corporate culture, and occupational safety. It is concluded that the choice of the optimal type of personnel policy should be based on the results of an empirical analysis of the regional labor market, rather than solely on the internal performance indicators of the organization.
