This contribution examines two Developing Arabic (formerly “Nabataeo-Arabic”) inscriptions recently discovered in the so-called Old Town of al-ʿUlā, in North-West Saudi Arabia. They were found reused in the door frame of two traditional houses, one in 2017 and the other in 2022. The first one corresponds to CIS II 333, the reading of which was improved thanks to the direct examination of the stone and to a photogrammetric restitution, the second being previously unpublished. They are dated to ad 306 and ad 335/336 respectively.
