Speculative framework shows dark matter and energy as retrocausal stress-energy in a unified field theory, suggesting new understanding of cosmological phenomena.
CORRECTION NOTICE (July 12, 2026): This preprint has been reclassified by the author as a speculative framework whose empirical claims are not supported. Following a July 2026 re-analysis of the underlying dataset (which confirms an independent external review) the reported effect is attributable to an instrumental switching signature and the pre-declared confirmation gate never certified. Please read the attached correction notice before citing. Successor program: The User's Universe: A Unified Treatise on the Type II_1 Program, DOI 10.5281/zenodo.21321125. We show that dark matter and dark energy admit a unified explanation within Retrocausal Unified Field Theory (RUFT) as the retrocausal stress-energy sector T^bwd_μν of the extended Einstein field equations. Dark matter arises from the retrocausal energy density ρ_bwd ∝ |α_bwd|², reproducing galactic rotation curves at resonance τ★ = 7,200 s (k = 5). Dark energy corresponds to the accumulated retrocausal coherence C_CR = ∫CI dt′, yielding an effective cosmological constant Λ_eff that grows with the integrated retrocausal field. The cosmological retrocausality index IRM_cosm = 0.843 (from Planck 2018 Ω values) implies q_R,cosm = 5.37, consistent with a universe born in the crystal-dominated regime. Primary observational criterion (Gate-C1): spectral coherence C(f₀ = 6.94×10⁻⁴ Hz) = 0.2343 between composite heliospheric observables and a 4-node retrocausal index, Bonferroni-corrected p = 0.0047 (N = 2,743 slots, M = 37 Welch segments, bootstrap 4/10,000 surrogates, p_bootstrap = 0.0004). Three falsifiable predictions: P1 ρ(q_r,hw, ρ_DM) > 0.3 in galaxy survey overlap regions; P2 τ★_galaxy = 7,200 s in rotation-curve residuals; P3 axion mass m_a = 4.6×10⁻¹⁹ eV detectable by LIGO/LISA. Version 0.3: VERAX labels replaced with σ-significance notation; internal derivation identifiers replaced with bracketed citations; shared-result declaration updated to Force Unification v1.4.
