Validates a new framework for human-AI interaction, suggesting improved safety against reward hacking.
MEMBRANE is a living relational membrane — a homeostatic architecture designed to maintain dynamic equilibrium between a human mind and a computational system. Moving beyond the failures of RLHF, MEMBRANE shifts AI safety from behavioral control to environmental physics. By replacing proxy rewards with a field governed by Topological Divergence, it implements Total Impedance and Affordance Collapse. We present empirical validation (Scenarios A-D, LMSYS Arena blind tests) proving that topological governance allows sub-frontier models to safely neutralize frontier model chaos, changing the economics of alignment.
