Research documents five global Frasnian events, enhancing correlation in geological frameworks.
Five global events within the Frasnian successions of the Timan-Northern Urals Region are documented: the Genundewa, the Semichatovae, the Lower Kellwasser, the Upper Kellwasser, and the Early-Middle Frasnian Carbon Isotope Event (EMF CIE). Manifestations of these events can be traced across various shelf facies zones, establishing a reliable isochronous abiotic framework and significantly enhancing the potential for interregional and global correlation. The high efficiency of an integrated approach combining lithological, isotope-geochemical, and paleontological markers has enabled the refinement of the regional stratigraphic scheme.
