VAFB-1993-05: Cultural Resources Survey of 370 Acres for the Titan IV Rocket Motor Storage Program, Vandenberg Air Force Base, California

This document is a letter report that presents the results of a supplemental cultural resources survey performed in support of the Titan IV Solid Rocket Motor Storage Program at Vandenberg AFB. An intensive pedestrian archaeological surface survey was undertaken to identify and characterize prehistoric, historic, and traditional cultural resources within the area of potential effect (APE). The report discusses the identification of a single archaeological site, CA-SBA-2500. Although subsurface testing was performed to identify the boundary of the site it was not subject to National Register of Historic Places evaluation. The document includes sections titled Report of Findings, Discussing/Interpretation, and Management Considerations. Six isolated finds were also recorded as part of the survey.
