Technical clarification note explaining the compatibility of UAT documents regarding the 7% parameter and its application in cosmology.
TECHNICAL CLARIFICATION NOTE — ZENODO DEPOSITAuthor: Miguel Ángel PercudaniORCID: 0009-0007-1748-3212 ═══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════PURPOSE═══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════ This note addresses a potential concern regarding the consistency between two published UAT/UCP documents: 1. "On the Nature of the 7% Thermal Calibration Margin" (DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.21211964) Establishes that φ*/η = 0.07 is the SINGLE FREE PARAMETER of the framework, empirically constrained by the existence of cosmic structures and not derivable from combinations of φ, π, e, or η. 2. "Non-Linear Derivation of the Effective Matter Density" (DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.21328187) Uses the 7% margin as the efficiency factor (1 - 0.07) = 0.93 in the phenomenological relation: Ω_m(eff) = Ω_b × κ_crit × φ × (1 - 0.07) = 0.3133 ANALYSIS: • Document 1 states: "The 7% is the single free parameter. It does not emerge from fundamental constants." • Document 2 states: "We use the 7% as an efficiency factor in a phenomenological relation. The relation is not derived rigorously from the UAT Lagrangian." → NO CONTRADICTION EXISTS. Document 1 defines the STATUS of the 7% (empirical input, not derived). Document 2 APPLIES the 7% to a cosmological calculation while explicitly acknowledging the phenomenological nature of the relation. Both documents are honest about their limitations. THE LOGICAL CHAIN IS CONSISTENT: The 7% margin → k_early = 0.967 → All other UAT constants The 7% margin → (1 - 0.07) = 0.93 → Efficiency factor in Ω_m Ω_m(eff) reproduces Planck 2018 with 0.55% error Ω_Λ reproduces Planck 2018 with 0.24% error A contradiction would exist only if: • Document 1 claimed the 7% is derived from first principles AND Document 2 claimed it is an empirical input. (Not the case.) • Document 1 claimed the 7% is the ONLY free parameter AND Document 2 introduced additional free parameters. (Not the case; Document 2 uses only UAT constants derived from the 7%.) CONCLUSION: The two documents are fully compatible and form a coherent logical chain within the UAT/UCP framework. ═══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════REFERENCES═══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════ 7% Thermal Calibration Margin: DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.21211964Non-Linear Matter Density: DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.21328187UAT/UCP Synthesis: DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.21313468 ═══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════KEYWORDS═══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════ UAT framework, UCP, thermal calibration margin, effective matter density, dark matter, dark energy, phenomenological relation, constant architecture, theoretical consistency, cosmological parameters ═══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════LICENSE═══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════ Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0)
