Conceptual framework explores thermodynamics and information processes, suggesting layered realization impacts multiple phenomena.
Holographic Information-Ontological Framework - Open Informational Metabolic & Realization Ontology (HIOF- OIMRO)A Three-Layer Ontological Framework for Gauge-Theoretic Thermodynamics, Informational Metabolism, and the Zero-Entropy Interface The HIOF- OIMRO series develops a layered informational-ontological framework in which thermodynamic structure is interpreted through the dynamics of realization, boundary mediation, and cross-layer information metabolism. Building on the ontological distinction between the Mother Matrix (L1), Transition Boundaries (L2), and the Realized Foreground (L3), the series reinterprets thermodynamics as an emergent horizon condition of realized physical description rather than as a universal constraint on all information. The central innovation of the series lies in its treatment of information as a metabolically structured process rather than a passive substrate. Within this framework, information is injected from L1, realized through L2, dissipated in L3, and reclaimed through boundary-mediated feedback. The Zero-Entropy Interface (ZEI) functions as the principal protocol at L2, detecting mismatch, rectifying unstable projections, and enabling reclamation of dissipated residuals back into deeper informational potential. This series is designed as a conceptual and ontological framework rather than a formal mathematical derivation. Its aim is to provide a coherent conceptual foundation for gauge-theoretic thermodynamics, while also extending the same grammar to black-hole horizons, quantum measurement, field formation, life, consciousness, and other processes in which realization, coherence, and entropy production are tightly coupled. A distinctive feature of the series is its structural symmetry between ontology and dynamics. If the world is organized through layered realization, then the corresponding processes must also be layered and protocol-driven. This symmetry is realized in the ZEI protocol, the four-step informational metabolic cycle, and the field-based interpretation of transaction, gravity, and coherence. The series thus offers a philosophically rigorous and conceptually unified account of thermodynamic realization, grounded in the interplay between informational potential, boundary mediation, and observable form.
