A rare case reports abnormal ultrasound findings in a fetus, indicating a potential link with anti-Ro/SSA antibodies.
A rare case of isolated fetal endocardial fibroelastosis associated with anti-Ro/SSA and SSB antibodies is presented. The only abnormal ultrasound finding was excessive brightness of the endocardium, particularly at the level of the crux cordi, the atrioventricular plane, and the outflow tracts, in the presence of normal myocardial contractility and normal function of the semilunar and atrioventricular valves.
