Supply chain resilience: a literature review based on bibliometric analysis

With the increasing importance of industrial security, topics related to supply chain resilience (SCR) have garnered significant attention from both academia and industry. In this context, we present a comprehensive review of SCR research. Specifically, we conduct a bibliometric analysis of 613 papers selected from the Web of Science (WOS) core database, published between 2004 and 2023. We identify the thematic evolution of the expanding literature on SCR and construct a corresponding research framework. Furthermore, we provide a thorough review of the definitions, principles, capabilities, metrics, micrologic, impacts, and strategic mechanisms associated with SCR. Finally, we highlight emerging research trends that warrant further exploration. Our review aims to offer valuable references and insights for future research in the field of SCR.
