Lithium ion conducting polymers containing trifluoromethylsulfonamide anions and oligoether side chains bound to a polysiloxane backbone exhibit a room-temperature Li + conductivity of 1.2 × 10 - 6 S cm - 1 and a T g of −67 °C. Apparently, the flexible comb polymer architecture results in a high concentration of charge carriers and good ionic conductivity.
