Proposed new therapeutic principle aims to enhance patient selection through immune complex dissociation, suggesting a shift in precision oncology practices.
This work proposes a novel therapeutic concept in precision oncology: “Precision Cancer Hemoperfusion”, an extracorporeal dissociation of CEA–IgM immune complexes. The aim of this paper is to introduce a new hypothesis rather than present empirical data. Conventional hemoperfusion and CART therapies have lacked biomarker-based patient selection. By focusing on CEA–IgM–positive individuals, this concept redefines extracorporeal therapy as a selective, immune-resetting intervention. This theoretical framework is intended to stimulate further mechanistic research and clinical exploration.
