Research funding for fundamental physics from various countries and international research platforms such as CERN all originates from public taxes paid by taxpayers. Empirical verification shall serve as the mandatory precondition for all theoretical deductions. Contemporary frontier physics suffers from a fundamental logical flaw: its complete theoretical system fails to align with extensive observational facts, and can only maintain self-consistency by continuously stacking layers of auxiliary hypotheses without empirical support. These layered hypotheses are essentially artificial fabrications divorced from objective reality. Continued allocation of substantial fiscal funds to such research is tantamount to encouraging the fabrication of physical fantasies with taxpayers’ money, and enabling academia to drift further away from the real world amid a system of unsubstantiated claims. This paper clarifies a core principle: hypotheses lacking experimental or observational verification must not receive large-scale resource investment as the primary research line. Research directions that constantly pile up fictional assumptions and fail to produce verifiable conclusions shall only be granted minimal small funds to sustain basic research by researchers, and large special funds or budgets for large-scale experimental equipment shall be strictly prohibited. A regular fiscal review mechanism overseen by parliament shall be established to rectify the current misallocation of resources that tolerates deductions based on fabricated theories.
