This project presents an evidence-informed structured narrative synthesis examining the mechanobiological role of the myodural bridge and meningeal mechanotransduction in primary headache disorders. The review integrates anatomical, biomechanical, cellular, extracellular matrix, neuroimmune, and clinical evidence to develop a mechanobiological framework linking cervical musculoskeletal structures with meningeal signaling and headache pathophysiology. The project follows SANRA recommendations for narrative reviews and aims to identify current evidence, knowledge gaps, and future research directions.
