Introduces a method for rewriting group elements that aids group theoretic cryptography.
A universal approach to randomly rewriting group elements utilizing a fixed presentation of the group is introduced. The method can be used independently or in concert with classical methods from combinatorial group theory. Initial applications include group theoretic cryptography and the word problem for a group.
