Focused preprint develops a geometric representation exploring golden ratio relations and phase differences.
This focused preprint develops a two-dimensional closure representation for the Arc-Waver within the framework of Arc Geometry. Its central purpose is to separate an intrinsic golden-ratio relation from the geometric changes introduced by cross-phase projection and external coordinate registration. The construction begins with an arc-class curve formed by quotient-space gluing of two arc branches. Its unique chord, denoted by C_Gamma, is treated as an intrinsic formal-space element and a formal unit of quantization. The paper strictly distinguishes this chord from the externally imposed Cartesian X-axis: C_Gamma != X. Only under the specified golden-closure condition is a restricted scalar bridge admitted between the formal magnitude of the chord and the length intercepted on the external X-axis by the closed ring: Q(C_Gamma) = L_X^cl. This scalar equality does not imply physical identity, axis equivalence, or coordinate interchangeability. To prevent quantities belonging to different geometric phases from being combined in a single length ledger, the paper introduces an absolute source phase A and a projected phase P_theta. Let lambda = |ab|_A / |bd|_A, |ab|_P = |ab|_A cos(theta), and let m denote the cross-phase compensation multiplier defined by |bd|_A = m |ab|_P. The resulting general ratio-multiplier-angle relation is cos(theta) = 1 / (m lambda), with a real non-obtuse solution when m lambda >= 1 and a strictly acute solution when m lambda > 1. For the golden prototype, lambda = phi = (sqrt(5) - 1) / 2 and m = 2, so that cos(theta) = 1 / (2 phi) = (sqrt(5) + 1) / 4, yielding the unique strictly acute characteristic angle theta = 36 degrees. An independent half-angle construction begins with 2 sin(alpha) = phi, which gives alpha = 18 degrees and therefore theta = 2 alpha = 36 degrees. The agreement of these two derivations supplies an internal algebraic cross-check of the characteristic-angle result. The paper further defines three representative registration points on a reference axis of length L: x(b_phi) = L phi^2,x(b_2) = L / 3,x(b_36) = L phi / 2. Their exact displacement differences satisfy Delta_(2->36) : Delta_(phi->2) : Delta_(phi->36) = 1 : 2 : 3. This 1:2:3 relation is proved algebraically and is distinguished from the theory-internal interpretation that associates the three registered stages with the source-construction orders 2^1, 2^2, and 2^3. The algebraic drift ratio is established in the present paper; the full mapping from exponential arc-coupling order to dynamical phase evolution is reserved for subsequent work. A minimal Arc-Waver dynamical interface is recorded as P_n(t) = phi [1 - K_n(psi(t))], where the intrinsic source-layer ratio is fixed as lambda_S = phi for the golden prototype. This expression is presented as a forward interface rather than as a complete three-dimensional wave equation. The paper is deliberately limited in scope. It does not identify the arc-class chord with an external coordinate axis, does not reduce the Arc-Waver construction to a conventional Euclidean ellipse, and does not claim that the proposed geometric interpretation has already received independent empirical confirmation. Its contribution is a compact, self-contained, and auditable mathematical account of the relation among the golden ratio, cross-phase doubling, the 18-degree half-angle, the 36-degree golden characteristic angle, and the exact 1:2:3 phase-registered drift cascade.
