This paper addresses route selection for an Airbus EC135 T3H (H135) helicopter operating a HEMS mission between Bucharest and Buzău. Minimum distance is treated as one criterion among several, alongside flight time, estimated fuel consumption and a relative acoustic index calculated for the populated areas overflown. The model is implemented in Python and applied to a waypoint network between Bucharest University Emergency Hospital and Buzău County Emergency Hospital. Three candidate routes are evaluated against the direct route. Route C obtains the lowest aggregated score (J = 1.013) and is proposed as the optimal trajectory. The results indicate that, for this type of mission, a multi-criteria route can offer a more balanced compromise than the direct one, within the limits of the modelling assumptions.
