. Molecular networking through the Global Natural Products Social Molecular Networking platform enabled the putative annotation of 21 compounds, predominantly belonging to glycosylated flavonoids. Among these, 8 were assigned as C-glycosylated flavonoids, 7 as O-glycosylated flavonoids, and 3 corresponded to anthocyanins. UV-Vis absorption bands around 520 nm further supported the presence of anthocyanins. Additional QToF MS analyses corroborated the GNPS-based annotations through accurate mass measurements. Although no novel compounds were isolated or structurally elucidated, this study provides a qualitative phytochemical annotation focused on flavonoids in selected Marantaceae species, contributing to the knowledge of their chemical composition and consequently, chemotaxonomic aspects for the genus.
