A <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">[55, 16, 19]</tex> binary Goppa code and some related codes are described. These codes are found to contain more codewords than any previously known codes of the same length and minimum distance.
