Presents a systematic dialogue examining theoretical challenges and responses in political philosophy, involving eight prominent theorists.
This paper presents a systematic framework-level dialogue between the “Productive Political Philosophy” theoretical system and eight established theories. The eight dialogue partners are Jared Diamond, Mark Elvin, Philip Huang, Eric Voegelin, Kenneth Pomeranz, Douglass North, Cho-yun Hsu, and Oswald Spengler. Each dialogue revolves around a core question: What challenges do their theoretical frameworks pose to “Productive Political Philosophy”? How does this system respond? What is the logic of the response, and where does its explanatory boundary lie? The eight dialogues cover core issues including geographical determinism, the high-level equilibrium trap, involution, the leap in being, the Great Divergence, institutional economics, cultural integration, and civilizational organicism. This paper aims to provide an open intellectual dialogue platform for the entire theoretical system—serving both as a synthesis of established achievements and an invitation for future discussion.
