This article starts from the premise that since it is very difficult to determine what the objectives of business education might be. The case is argued that much of business education can in fact achieve very little in terms of those objectives (even when stated) and can sometimes do harm. A change of emphasis is advised, which is intended to represent an advance in both the relevance and the educational content of business education.
