Mo-doped SnS 2 with enriched S-vacancies for highly efficient electrocatalytic N 2 reduction: the critical role of the Mo–Sn–Sn trimer

Mo-doped SnS 2 nanosheets with enriched S-vacancies exhibited a greatly enhanced NRR activity, which is attributed to the creation of Mo–Sn–Sn trimer catalytic sites that can strongly activate N 2 with a largely reduced energy barrier.
