Spatial justice provides an analytical framework for identifying situations where injustice occurs. The analysis in this article is based on two levels: first, the translocal level, particularly concerning the concept of spatial justice in the context of series production; second, the content level, namely the analysis of the series’ narrative, in particular the link between spatial justice and urban planning, illustrated by various wide shots and aerial shots. Through the series C’est la vie, Karma and Cacao, produced in West Africa and belonging to different repertoires, this contribution illustrates the interdependence between perspectives on social justice or injustice and space in the series. This link contributes to the construction and understanding of imaginaries, particularly those related to multiple spatial (in)justice in French-speaking West Africa.
