Abstract Remarkable rise of viscosity was observed by adding trialkyl-1,3,5-benzenetricarboxamide into organic solvents; the formation of highly viscoelastic solution was discussed by viscosity measurement, FTIR spectroscopy, and X-ray molecular structure in the crystal.
