Demonstrates improved energy storage in sodium niobate ceramics, suggesting enhanced performance for capacitors.
Sodium niobate energy storage ceramics are widely concerned by many researchers due to their characteristics of antiferroelectricity, high polarization strength, relative breakdown resistance, light weight, and wide operating temperature range. In the present work, CaTiO 3 was added to NN-BNZ to form a solid solution, which optimizes the energy storage performances of ceramics. By introducing a linear energy storage material CaTiO 3, the energy storage characteristics of NN-BNZ ceramics were significantly improved. Especially, 0.90(0.88NN-0.12BNZ)-0.10CT ceramics exhibited a large W rec (5.1 J/cm 3 ) and higher η (83%). Moreover, the ceramics also present ultrafast t 0.9 (35 ns) in the temperature range of 30–100 °C). The above results indicate that the 0.90(0.88NN-0.12BNZ)-0.10CT ceramics has the prospect of being a high-performance energy storage capacitor.
