Abstract Melasma, also called chloasma, is an acquired pigmentary condition. Its complicated etiology is caused by the interaction of several variables, including genetics, UV rays, hormones, and medications. On the face, it is typified by symmetrical hyperpigmented macules. It has been demonstrated that chemical peels and tropical bleaching chemicals only slightly improve the condition. It can lower a patient's quality of life by making them anxious about being judged poorly, and frustrated by discoloration. A 40-year-old female patient with marked hyperpigmentation on the face and cheeks was prescribed constitutional homoeopathic medicine Sepia officinalis 200C after proper case taking and analysis. The case report is documented with photographic evidence at regular intervals. In the end, patient improvement was assessed by applying the modified Naranjo criteria, a currently accepted and reproducible method for assessing improvement. The modified Naranjo score was +9, indicating a definite causal attribution. The case study that follows demonstrates notable improvements in chloasma, a dermatological disorder, following the prescription of constitutional therapy. Homoeopathic treatment adhering to its ground principles of individualization has shown promising and favorable results in this case.
