Prospective architecture seeks to enhance decentralized ledgers' security against quantum threats.
Protocol RDS: Quantum Deflection presents a prospective andclaim-controlled architecture for studying the migration ofdecentralized ledgers from quantum-vulnerable authorization schemesto post-quantum authorization mechanisms. The architecture combines a pre-announced legacy transition,proof-based claim processing, commitment-based disclosure control,bit-exact deterministic verification, and explicit security anddeployment gates. The document does not establish a complete, trustless, deployable, orconsensus-approved migration protocol. In particular, a proof oflegacy secret-key knowledge does not by itself distinguish an originalkey holder from an adversary who has independently recovered the samesecret through quantum key recovery. The proposed proof system, legacy-state commitment mechanism, nullifier construction, replay protection, reorganization handling,denial-of-service model, post-quantum destination format, and formalsecurity model remain open research questions. The OneIron/HADS lineage is methodological only and refers topreregistration, deterministic stage gates, bit-exact PASS/FAILevaluation, auditability, and claim control. No cryptographic securityis derived from HADS physics or HADS numerical results.
