A Conjecture of Matter:Geometric Relaxation as a Bridge Between General Relativity and Quantum Mechanics

This paper tentatively extends the gravitational barrier and geometric relaxation framework to explore a potential conceptual bridge between general relativity and quantum mechanics. Rather than proposing a unified theory, it offers a preliminary perspective: both frameworks may be understood as complementary descriptions of the same underlying process—geometric relaxation—at different scales. General relativity is interpreted as the continuous description of geometric strain on macroscopic scales, while quantum mechanics is interpreted as the discrete manifestation of the same strain on microscopic scales. This interpretation is speculative and is presented as an exploratory hypothesis, not as an established physical conclusion. Four principled falsifiability conditions are provided to define the empirical boundary of this tentative framework. The geometric relaxation framework itself is established in a companion paper 7; the present paper builds upon it without reproducing its foundational derivations, and all conclusions are offered with explicit acknowledgment of their provisional nature.
