Dynatosoma crassicornis Meunier, 1904, nomen dubium Dynatosoma crassicornis Meunier, 1904: 172. Synplasta crassicornis (Meunier, 1904): Spahr 1985: 75; Evenhuis 1994: 167. Type material. Holotype female # 682, Königsberg collection, lost. Comment. The specimen was already missing in August 1933 during Edwards’s visit to Königsberg. Spahr (1985) classified the species in his catalogue as Synplasta Skuse, and this was adopted by Evenhuis (1994); however, Spahr never studied the type, and thus the new combination is here considered to be unjustified. Two other specimens in the GPIG collection are identified as Dynatosoma crassicornis: BST02505 (K170) and BST02516 (G5239/α59). Both specimens belong to Neallodia Edwards, 1932, based on slightly expanded antepenultimate palpomere, short 14-segmented antennae, and visible characteristic black spot between katepisternum and anepimeron.
