Sciophila blotho Meunier, 1899, nomen nudum Sciophila blotho Meunier, 1899b: 170. Type material. Specimen # 14644, VI; 8484, Königsberg collection, lost. Two male specimens in MfN (MB.I.14049, MB. I.1450) inscribed “ Sciophila clotho, sp. 10 ”, “Original”, “Dr B”. In.22095 Sciophila clotho in NHMUK is a partial Mycomya (wing and thorax). Most probably an original Meunier’s spelling mistake.
