Trisomy 13 syndrome in Chinese infants. Clinical findings and incidence.

Clinical screening for con- genital anomalies of 25,814 consecutive Chinese newborn babies in the city of Taipei (Emanuel et al., in preparation), over a period of 36 months, un- covered four cases of trisomy 13 proven by chromo- somal analysis. Trisomy 13 syndrome has not previously been reported from Taiwan.
