Conceptual framework proposes AI agents for aircraft monitoring, enhancing situational awareness and reducing workload.
This paper presents a conceptual AI Multi-Agent Aircraft Decision Support System for collaborative aircraft system monitoring. The proposed architecture uses specialized AI agents to monitor aircraft subsystems and a Master AI Coordinator to combine their outputs into prioritized, explainable recommendations for pilots. The design aims to improve situational awareness and reduce pilot workload while remaining separate from certified flight-control systems. This work is a conceptual academic study only and has not been implemented, tested on real flight data, or certified.
