The ability of a complex network to cope with destructive influence and quickly recover after a failure is the key for sustainable performance. Classical networks are fundamentally limited in this capacity due to their structure. Quantum networks, in contrast, are non-local. This structural flexibility opens an interesting perspective to enhance dynamical properties of a network at practically reasonable cost. Both the robustness enhancement and the local repair after failure can be performed on any quantum network with at most polynomial resources.
