This paper answers certain questions concerning the game of squash rackets, using stochastic analysis and linear regression to produce approximate formulae and relatively simple decision rules. Some exact mathematical analysis is performed for a special case. The model used is more complex, but more realistic, than those used by previous authors. This complexity is shown to be necessary.
