PURPOSE: The purpose is to provide physical therapists with up-to-date information on knee rehabilitation. The editor’s intent is to provide the reader with information that is clinically relevant, scientifically substantiated, and presented in a practical manner. His objectives have been met. The editor has solicited the input of renowned researchers, clinicians, and educators. These individuals have many years of experience and the reader will find the information clinically relevant and directly applicable. AUDIENCE: This book is written primarily for the physical therapist, physical therapist assistant, and athletic trainer. The editor and contributors are experts in their respective fields. They provide credible information based on their own clinical experience and review of scientific research to provide the practitioner with clinical, useful information. ASSESSMENT: This text is a welcome addition to the rehabilitation literature. Although many textbooks and articles have been written on knee rehabilitation, the editor has provided a practical book applicable to various rehabilitation specialists. I highly recommend this text be purchased by all clinicians who provide orthopedic rehabilitation services to patients suffering from knee pathology.
