Reveals new insights into cyclic cosmology and mechanisms of dark matter and energy.
Relaxation-Driven Cyclic Cosmology (RDCC) v49.0 Ten self-contained papers presenting a bipartite, CPT-symmetric cosmological framework built from three observationally determined parameters. What this version is RDCC describes the Universe as a single quantum state that is exactly symmetric under the combined operation of charge conjugation, parity, and time reversal. Realizing that symmetry requires two sectors, a visible one and an exact conjugate, sharing one spacetime geometry, interacting only through gravity and through the gradual loss of quantum coherence between them. A smooth bounce replaces the initial singularity. The thermodynamic arrow of time emerges when an observer confined to one sector is forced to describe their half of an entangled whole. This version is a rebuild, not an increment. Every paper stands alone, assumes no familiarity with earlier releases, and contains no references to them. Each derivation is carried out explicitly, and every number reported has been computed rather than adopted. Why the framework changed between v48.0 and v49.0 A systematic re-derivation of the relaxation sector showed that several claimed results did not follow from the stated assumptions. The local contact interaction used previously could not support the phenomenology it was meant to explain. The mechanism was rebuilt from the ground up. The replacement is open-quantum-system theory. Treating the visible sector as a system coupled to the mirror sector as its environment fixes the mathematical form of the relaxation: any physically admissible description must take the Lindblad form. The physical requirements of the framework then determine the coupling structure essentially uniquely. Four further changes alter what the framework claims. 1. The parameter structure is different and better. RDCC now has three parameters, each measured: one from the scalar spectral index, one from the effective number of relativistic species, and one from the dark matter abundance. None remains free. The asymptotic degree of inter-sector coherence is not a parameter: it follows from the relaxation history and approaches complete decoherence. 2. Dark matter has an entirely new mechanism. Earlier work identified dark matter with mirror-sector matter. That fails for two independent reasons: the sectoral temperature ratio cannot satisfy both the dark-radiation and dark-matter constraints, and a relational picture would require two observers to measure reciprocal values that cannot both match observation. Dark matter in v49.0 is instead a superheavy, collisionless species produced gravitationally at the bounce, with abundance fixed by the bounce curvature scale. The relevant quantum coefficients are computed explicitly. 3. Dark energy is no longer claimed as explained. The earlier mechanism fails quantitatively. What remains is an honest placement: the bounce field is already present, its potential must pass through zero at the bounce, and a positive late-time minimum acts as a cosmological constant. This yields three consequences: w = -1 exactly, no dark-energy perturbations, and no new component. The magnitude remains unexplained. 4. Baryogenesis is stated as unsolved. What the framework explains, and what it does not Explained: the absence of an initial singularity; the thermodynamic arrow of time; the dark matter abundance; the primordial spectral tilt; and a specific suppression of the growth rate of cosmic structure. Not explained: the magnitude of the dark energy density; the baryon asymmetry of the Universe. Parameter accounting RDCC has three parameters, but two of them reparametrize quantities already free in standard cosmology: the spectral index and the cold dark matter density. RDCC therefore adds exactly one parameter relative to Lambda-CDM, while converting two previously fitted quantities into sources of further prediction: a growth-rate suppression of about one and a half percent, and a definite frequency for the gravitational-wave background generated at the bounce. The added parameter carries an Occam cost: it is fixed by one observational channel and currently tested by none. The ten papers Entry point: Relaxation-Driven Cyclic Cosmology. Dark Energy: A Structural Placement, Not an Explanation. Observations: Numerical Fits. A note on method Every quantitative claim in this release was checked by explicit computation: symbolic algebra, numerical integration, and Markov-Chain Monte Carlo sampling. Where a check failed, the claim was withdrawn. Where a result could not be obtained, the papers say so. Limitations are stated in the same sections as the results they qualify.
