In recent years, the energy crisis is a critical and insoluble issue. The primary reason for the increased use of these fossil fuel-powered vehicles is that they have increased the extraction of these traditional resources in an unsustainable manner. Because of the increased demand for petrol and diesel, there is no fuel available for use. As a result, it is prudent to transition to electric vehicles as opposed to traditional IC engine vehicles. Henceforth, a Photovoltaic (PV) using an innovative combined coupled inductor interleaved Single Ended Primary Inductance Converter (SEPIC) with Crow Search optimised Proportional Integral (CS-PI) controller fed Electric Vehicle load (EV) system is established in this research for improving the dependability and superior power supply to the load. The number of PV arrays is lowered by employing a proposed converter and the voltage is enhanced. Besides, the proposed converter achieves high voltage gain (1:10), low-noise operation and high efficiency (96.7%) while dealing with a wide range of input voltage. The CS tuned PI controller regulates converter operations to produce regulated outputs with quick settling time (0.15 s) and minimised peak over shoot error. The results are produced by utilising MATLAB simulation to validate the proposed approach.
