This study aims to assess the uptake of COVID-19 vaccines and the intention to vaccinate in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

Data collected via mobile phones from 1075 individuals
Main outcome variables included COVID-19 vaccine uptake and intention to vaccinate.
8.3% of participants received a full vaccine dose; 3.4% received an incomplete dose.
Uptake was higher among older participants (adjusted PR = 1.87; 95% CI: 1.05–3.27) and those living outside Kinshasa (adjusted PR = 1.77; 95% CI: 1.24–2.53).
7 out of 10 respondents intended to vaccinate, influenced by perceptions of health worker competence and sources of information.
