Analytical report proposes a roadmap for Saudi Arabia's transformation toward 2050, suggesting improvements in various sectors.
Vision 2030 is not the finish line. It is the plateau from which the next, far steeper ascent is already visible. This independent analytical report offers a framework for that ascent — a hypothetical continuation of the Kingdom's transformation program, extending its logic to the 2050 horizon. We conduct an audit of what has been achieved: the figures are impressive, but structural tensions are accumulating. We diagnose the gaps: the budget deficit, the personnel shortage (the country has trained millions of AI users, but almost no AI creators), social discontent, and a monopolistic dependence on Western technology platforms — the "Trojan horse" of the current model. We then propose a positive program in three dimensions: a Thriving Society (from human capital to social justice), a Thriving Economy (from buyer to creator of technologies), and an Ambitious Nation (from control to trust, from regional rivalry to economic integration). Five stages. Twelve commitments. A roadmap from the completion of the current cycle to the maturity of a technological power. The report is built on open data, verifiable sources, and the principle of independence. We do not prescribe. We invite to reflection. A closed, exclusive prognostic version exists and, should the office of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman express interest, will be transmitted strictly confidentially.
