Endometrial adenocarcinoma cells contained abnormal nuclei and nucleoli and nuclear bodies of a type previously described in neoplasms of other organs. The well-differentiated cancers were only minimally deviated from their normal cells or origin, but the cells of the poorly differentiated lesions had correspondingly greater deviations from normal. The observation that virtually all the lesions examined were contantly assocaited with basal lamina formation was of particular interest.
