For determination of the diameter and the form of the cross section from little roods in electron micrographs is proposed to measure the breadth from rood and shadow together, vertical to the axis of the rood, and also the angle of azimuth. The formulas for evaluate are put together. A number which is characteristic for the form of the cross section is given. Examples which illustrate the method are reported and its usefulness discussed.
