A retrospective study comparing topographical pain representation scores and scores on MMPI .scales was done in 201 patients.The overall correlation was +73.1. Low pain drawing scores correlated better +86.3, than did high scores +38.1. Normal pain drawing scores appear to be an accurate predictor of normal psychological function.
