In this study we would like to reflect on resilience as a pedagogical tool. As a much researched notion, it has gone through many changes and additions, though, its basics are surprisingly simple and reachable to anyone. However, it can only come true for young children facing risk in their lives if they are supported by their immediate environment, by their teachers. We also reflect upon its use in classes where pedagogical reflection and metacognitive strategies can help participants to enhance resilient qualities. Finally, we refer to a unique Hungarian program that becasue of its inclusive processes involves resilience as a side effect. Emphasising on this quality can make a difference in class.
