Electrical conductivity, Hall voltage, thermoelectric power, and reflectivity in the plasmaresonance frequency region have been measured on Sb2Te3 single crystals doped with various amounts of germanium. Extending the „six valley”︁ model to the valence band of p-type Sb2Te3 and using some further simplifications, the values of perpendicular and parallel (to the c-axis) effective masses m and m, the density-of-states effective mass m, the structure factor 2 α11 α22/(α11 + α22) are calculated and a dependence of m and m on the freecarrier concentration was found.
